ISPS/MTSA Compliance
Secure Waters provides a variety of security and compliance services to marine facilities and vessels worldwide. Security programs for regulated facilities start with a solid security plan that focuses on a facility’s threats, vulnerabilities, security budget, and regulatory compliance requirements. All Secure Water’s consultants possess real world MTSA and ISPS compliance experience. Most have held positions within the U.S. Coast Guard or other domestic or international regulatory agencies where their main area of focus involved domestic and international marine facilities. Secure Waters will also work with each client to integrate their security programs into a cohesive total security management program by providing the uniform security guards or electronic systems to complete the compliance plan. The Secure Waters team works to reduce a client’s immediate fine exposure while working to reduce their long term fines and security costs through cost effect security plans and programs. Secure Waters security guard clients pay no additional fees for MTSA or ISPS related services. Compliance services include:
- Develop facility security plans (FSP’s)
- Plan Amendments or letters of change
- Inspect, review, and correct current plans
- Conduct yearly required audits (five year audits and re-submittals)
- Review fines for discrepancies or errors
- Provide emergency response (security guard clients only)
Cost Reduction: The Secure Waters management and security team work with each client to reduce security costs while maximizing their security budgets through these four steps:
1. Secure Waters offers a variety of security services (security guards, technology, consulting, and training) so clients have one point of contact for facility security. Bundling multiple services reduces long term program costs.
2. The team works with each client’s insurance company to develop a security risk mitigation program that reduces exposure from theft, loss, or damage (clients typically experience a 5-10% insurance premium reduction after the first year of service).
3. The Secure Waters management team works with each client to integrate security into their day to day operations to achieve operational efficiencies and reduce client costs.
4. Secure Waters offers concierge security service’s through our clients to their customers to provide additional revenue for our clients.
